PRE-DISCHARGE BANKRUPTCY EDUCATION COURSE

Personal Financial Management Instructional Course

 Thank you for choosing the Credit Counseling Center for your pre-discharge bankruptcy education. At this point in the bankruptcy process, you will have already had the pre-filing bankruptcy counseling session.

We offer the course online at any computer with Internet access. If you do not have a computer, check with your attorney, a friend, a relative or CCC has a computer for use in our office.

 Completing the Course

1. Fax the completed Affidavit form, CLICK HERE.
   

2. Copy of identification (driver’s license, or other legal picture ID (if we do not already have it)
   

3. $50.00 FEE, for single or couple. (If you are filing bankruptcy with a spouse, both individuals must take the course individually.) To process your payment online, CLICK HERE.
   
   

Once you pay the fee, you will automatically receive the username and password to enter the course. Then you can immediately take the course.  Once the course has been completed and we receive the affidavit and ID, your certificate will be emailed to your attorney. The email will be sent by "Money In Motion (acce@acce-online.com)" and will read “Money in Motion education information” in the subject line.

Once in Money in Motion, login at the student login using the username and password you received. You will then be guided to the first chapter.

The education course consists of a pre-test, eight brief chapters, quiz questions, and a post-test. You may go back to previous chapters at any time, as often as you like, before you submit the post-test. The evaluation at the end must be completed.

Please be aware you need a passing grade of 70% and a minimum of 120 minutes spent on the course to receive your certificate as required by the Bankruptcy Trustees. Your certificate will be sent to your attorney within 24 hours of completing the course. Students that complete the program and want to review what they learned can use your old user ID and password and login again.
